I finally found some time to upload and comment on the photos I took during my trip to Beijing. I've chosen not to include the photos I took of my colleagues, as they are private, and I don't think you should publish photos of people on the internet without their consent. Click on the link to the photo album in the side bar if you want to see the photos.
I'm seriously busy these days, but in the nicest possible way. I'm involved in a lot of exciting projects on my new job, and although it is a little hard at times - especially since winter is rather dark and cold right now - it's still a joy. Changing jobs was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time!
Only problem is that I can't seem to find the time to blog as much as I want to.
Wow! Those pictures are awesome. Thank you so much for sharing them. You took some great shots, especially in the Forbidden City. I was really able to get a feeling for the scale, although probably nowhere near actually being there.
And I love the picture of the stones you were walking on...who cares if the chinese thought you were a nut!
How sad about the pollution. I had no idea, and its very interesting considering we have 'air quality alerts' quite often throughout the summer.
And the Great Wall...awesome. Again thank you for sharing these photos. I really enjoyed them.
xoxo
BTW, you look beautiful on the Great Wall.
